The Girl who helped kidnap Jack Frost: Chapter 10

Savannahs POV

Before I even open my eyes I know where I am, The Musical Garden in Bunnys Warren, the tulips are playing one of my favorites its "Tendre by Phil King", any other day I'd like to listen & relax, but right now I want to know how I got here. I can tell my head isn't on the grass, but I can't figure out what I'm laying on or why I feel someones arm is laying on my side. I open my eyes, there isn't a sky in the Warren because it's located under the Australian outback so there's no way to tell what time it is. I raise my head & look to see what I've been sleeping on, my eyes widen when I finally see. It's Jack! He's in the sitting position, a rock is behind his back & it's his arm that's laying on my side. His eyes have dark circles under them, like he hasn't gotten any sleep, but he's sleeping now. "Don't wake him up." I turn head, Bunnymund is as Jacks feet. "It's the first time he's been asleep all night."

 I look at Jack, "No wonder he looks so tired! But why wouldn't he go to sleep? And why am I here, instead of at Norths?"

"Pitch. He made a threat towards you yesterday Savannah. He wants to hurt us. North didn't think it was a good idea for you to sleep at his place last night, so when Jack came through the portal carrying you sound asleep, I offered to let you sleep here, at the warren."

"But why is Jack here? I still don't understand."

"He refused to leave you, he said he'd watch over you while you slept so I could continue preparing for Easter. Poor mate stayed up all night, he'd only just fallen asleep when you woke up. Let's get you cleaned up & fed." Bunnymund raises Jacks arm so I can slip out of his grip, I stand up & look at Jack.

"Scrambled eggs?" Bunnymund always serves egg dishes. "But what if Jack wakes up! He'll freak out when he realizes I'm gone!" I look down at Jack, he's been so sweet to me, I can't just let him freak out. "I know I'll leave him a portal globe & a note."

"Come find me when you're done." Bunnymund knows I refuse to show anyone how I make my portal globes & respects my wish.

"Thanks Bunny. I won't be long." I wait untill he's out of my sight before I begin. 

I cup my hands in a ball, as if to make a snowball, I take a deep breath & blow all the air into my hands slowly. The portal tries to break free from my hands but I keep my hands closed tight, imagining an empty snowglobe with a blue & silver snowflake design to mark the top & botom. When I no longer feel the portal fighting I open my hands & there is a custom "Jack Frost edition" Portal globe. I set it next to Jack & in the dirt I write:

"Don't worry I'm fine & with Bunny. When you wake up say my name & shake the globe, it'll take you right to me.

P.S. I thought you would like the design.

I smile, & turn to go find Bunny, finding him by a pool of dye.

Jacks POV

I bolt awake, somethings wrong, I look down. Savannah's gone! I jump up, You idiot! How could you fall asleep, you were supposed to be guarding her! I look around, searching for any signs that Savannah had been forced to go somewhere, I stop when I see a snowglobe portal, next to it is a note.

"Don't worry I'm fine & with Bunny. When you wake up say my name & shake the globe, it'll take you right to me.

P.S. I thought you would like the design.

I pick up the globe & look at it. It's a blue & silver snowflake design, my signature colors. "Savannah" I shake the globe, inside a picture of Savannah, still wearing my hoodie, appears & she's laughing, I don't hear any sound but, I can tell. I throw the globe to the ground in front of me, just as North did, the globe bounces & upon inverting on itself the portal appears. I pick up my staff & step through.
